Meet Curly.
Curly is a 2022 VW transporter that has been meticulously converted into a 4-berth campervan. Complete with a kitchenette, heater, swivelling captain’s chairs around a detachable table, a pop-top roof and functional lighting, it’s a comfortable and well-thought-out conversion that maximises comfort and style. Curly even has solar panels - giving you power if you decide to go off-grid!
…and it’s really beautiful - look at that two-tone finish!

Inside Curly the Camper.
Kitchen.
Curly has a double hob powered by the van’s diesel - this means you won’t need to worry about gas canisters. There is also a covered sink to help you keep on top of the washing up - or brushing teeth without heading to the shower block! The hob doubles up as the heater - perfect for those more chilly getaways! We’ve made sure you’ve got cutlery, utensils, plates and mugs too.
Beds.
Curly is a 4-berth camper, with a bed formed from the back seats and a bed in the pop-top. We have optional extras like a memory foam mattress topper and bedding to make your stay more comfortable. When you collect Curly, you’ll be shown how to make up the beds quickly and easily. There is nothing like opening the back door to see the view from your bed!
We will also provide you with thermal and light-blocking blinds for the windscreen and windows - you won’t lose any sleep because of light streaming in!
Dining.
One of our favourite parts - Curly has two tables, one to use in the camper, and the other outdoors. It’s perfect for playing card games on, and the swivel captain chairs mean that four people can sit comfortably around it.
Extras.
We know that biking and camping go hand in hand, so Curly has the option to come equipped with a bike rack - ready for up to four bikes - for £25 per hire.
We’ve also got options for lots of different extras, like hiring our collapsible fire pit for those cosy evenings, maximising living space with our drive-away tent awning, taking advantage of our bedding package or munching on some specially-sourced treats.
Pop Top.
The pop top transforms van life! It means you can comfortably stand whilst using the facilities on board. The second sleeping area is stowed in the pop top too - have it up at full height whilst cooking or relaxing, and then drop it down for that extra sleeping space, or additional storage at night.
