Frequently Asked Questions

How many does it sleep?

The campervan sleeps four. We recommend that it’s better for two adults and two kids, as the pop top has a maximum weight allowance of 150kg, so if there are four adults, you will have to hire our drive-away awning as ancillary sleeping accommodation.

Are dogs allowed?

You can bring your furry friends - max two dogs no larger than a cockapoo - or one big labrador! There is a cleaning charge associated with bringing your pooch, and of course you’ll be liable should they damage the van.

Do we need to bring gas?

The heater and hob are both powered by the diesel in the van. You can of course bring your own cooking equipment, but we ask that you only use other equipment outside of the van.

Do you offer discounts?

You can get a 5% off code by subscribing to our email - and our monthly newsletter will contain discounts if last-minute availability comes up.

If you’d like to enquire about a longer rental, ping us an email at hire@trailblazercampers.co.uk and we will see what we can do!

What is it equipped with?

We use this as our family camper too, so inside you’ll find:

  • Kitchen utensils and cutlery, plus plates, bowls and mugs

  • Camping chairs (up to four), and an extra table to use outside

  • Blinds for windscreen and front windows

  • An awning

Then you have the option to hire extras, like our pop-up extension tent, collapsible fire pit, portable toilet and bedding pack

Can I drive with my usual car license?

Yes - as long as it’s for a manual. Rental comes with one named driver included - if you require another driver added to the policy, you must let us know 30 days in advance. There will be an additional £10 administration fee per extra driver, per rental period.

What if we have an accident or breakdown?

We have 24-hour breakdown cover included in the hire price. Any accidents must be reported to the police and to us as soon as they happen. The full accident prodecure is in our booking terms and conditions.

What time is collection/drop off? And can late drop offs be arranged?

Collection is usually from 3pm (you’ll be emailed to confirm a suitable time) and drop off is by 12noon. Late drop-offs need to be arranged in advance and are liable for additional fees and subject to staff availability.
